Casey is currently living and working in Raleigh, NC as a performing artist, yoga instructor, bboy and contemplative educator. His specialty is in teaching presence and mindfulness through embodied movement and space awareness. While he draws from a wide variety of performance techniques and contemplative practices he is particularly interested in the use of hip hop dance as a medium to explore the interplay of mindfulness/awareness practice and performing arts.
Casey attended Naropa University where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance and Tranditional Eastern Arts and a Master of Arts in Contemplative Education. He has over 2000 hours of yoga teacher training and over 2000 hours of yoga teaching experience, which easily qualifies him for the highest level of Yoga Alliance registry, E-RYT 500.
