Contemplative Arts Lab
I am organizing a group that will meet once a week to explore different contemplative practices. Ideally I’m looking for people who can commit to a full session of one or more of the disciplines. It would be great if some people were interested in coming to all of them! I would like to have a group of people who can build a relationship with each other and the material, with the hopes of creating some continuity of practice and discussion.
The cost of participation is a shared rental fee between the participants. For example:
5 participants = each person pays $4

Bboy Vinyasa
Is an expression of Contemplative Hip Hop Dance practice, which is a form I developed while I was a student at Naropa University.
Contemplative Hip Hop Dance is a combination of two main influences converging with breakin’ (a.k.a. break dancing): The discipline of Martial Arts Forms or Katas and the collaborative ensemble training of Post Modern Improvisational Dance. Together the three disciplines of Breakin, Martial Arts and Post Modern Improvisation create what I call the Formless-Form which I use as a fun method of synchronizing mind and body.
Contemplative Dance Practice as taught by Barbra Dilley
Contemplative Dance Practice is a three part session comprised of sitting meditation, warming up the body through personal awareness practice, and improvising together in open space.
Mudra Space Awareness
A Tibetan Yoga designed by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche for western performing artists.
